Whether you are recording court proceedings, capturing public meetings, or preparing official transcripts, this update is built to help you get work done faster and more accurately than ever.
RealTime 10 has been upgraded with a wide array of new features. Note taking is more accurate, with improved speaker attribution, and immediate text review and correction. Readbacks have never been easier. And the edited real-time transcription text can be used for preparation of the final transcript.
If you have not tried RealTime 10 yet, this release would be a great opportunity to experience the benefits of real-time transcription. Court reporters who have been beta testing for several months have found that using the software helps maintain professional standards while reducing stress. Having the text captured on the screen while in court or in a deposition makes reporting much easier. The transcript provides confident verification that the audio is capturing reliably. And the real-time text serves as your automatic note taker, so you can focus on the big picture of what is going on in the room.
You can now switch between three different views of the transcription process:
Live View shows the raw transcription, just like how it was displayed in the first release of RealTime 10. This captures the raw transcription text and timestamps from the server and any notes added during the session. The Live View text is also copied to Court Recorder 10, synchronized with the audio.
Edit View is used to make corrections to the text and speaker identifications in real time. Now you don’t have to wait until the session is over to start cleaning up the transcript. The transcript can also be edited using the Edit View window after the session.
Final Draft View shows the transcript in the familiar legal transcript format with line and page numbers. The finished text can be exported including the line and page numbers for a quick “rough ASCII” draft, or exported without line numbers for editing and formatting in a word processor.
Live Editing: RealTime 10 includes the ability to edit transcription text and speaker attribution as transcription continues to be captured. Notes can be added using Markers or typed just like in Court Recorder 10. This makes for more accurate notes, and reduces the time required to prepare a final transcript from the real-time feed.
Easy Readbacks: With the highly accurate real-time transcript on screen, readbacks become a breeze, no matter how long or complicated. The edit view organizes the text into neat paragraphs, so speaker turns are easy to see for locating the correct passage. You can also search for words and phrases anywhere in the transcript for readback and review.
Export Options: All three transcription views, Live, Edit, and Final, can now be exported as text files directly from RealTime 10.

Enhanced AI processing in SoniClear Transcriber 10 on-demand transcription service means more accurate transcription text, better formatting for transcripts, and more detailed summarization for meeting minutes.
Increased Accuracy: On-Demand transcription continues to be enhanced for improved accuracy, reducing the time needed to produce final transcripts.
Improved Meeting Minutes: The On-Demand transcription summarization feature for creating meeting minutes has been upgraded. Clerks and Board Secretaries using On-Demand transcription report producing meeting minutes in minutes rather than hours. The new AI processing provides improved minutes detail and accuracy. In addition, the Manage Transcription screen has been updated to make it easier to create the transcription and to include the meeting agenda for more refined minutes.
AI Proofing and Formatting: On-Demand transcription has a new option to produce fully formatted deposition and court transcripts that have been proofed using AI, delivering a near-final document with less manual cleanup required.
The new recording Monitor popup window displays all the microphone channels at once. This makes it easy to visually confirm that every microphone is active before and during a recording. The popup also has a button for listening to any of the channels for confirmation of audio quality.
Meeting Recorder 10 now supports MP3 recording. It is no longer necessary to export from a WAV file to the more space efficient MP3 format. Gov Recorder 10 also now supports recording in Mono MP3 format, saving disk space when recording from a single microphone, such as the Voice Tracker 3.
SoniClear Player Live is a new playback program included with Court Recorder 10. Supervisors, administrators, and others who need access to listen while recording now have a dedicated player option. Player Live allows someone in a separate location to listen to a recording in progress from the network backup copy. In addition, Player Live can be used for read-only review of recordings.
The Auto Backup feature in Court Recorder 10 and Gov Recorder 10 has been updated. This prevents triggering an internal Windows 11 failure in this latest release, Version 25H2. If you are using the Auto Backup feature, it is important to upgrade to this release when the 25H2 update has been installed.
The file naming convention for saving preference information has been improved. The program preference file name now includes both the program name and the computer name. This solves problems where the user Documents directory is being copied to multiple computers using OneDrive or an Active Domain roaming profile. For users and IT administrators managing SoniClear across multiple workstations, this release of SoniClear eliminates preference file errors, without needing to resort to the more complex solution involving a registry entry pointing to a dedicated preference folder.
Starting with this release, SoniClear offers a complete Spanish language version of the recording products. SoniClear has been used to record proceedings in Spanish-speaking communities for years. What was missing was a software experience that matched the language of the people using it. Now SoniClear offers a full Spanish-language user interface experience, Spanish On-Demand transcription, and Spanish Automatic Minutes.
The interface has been updated with streamlined buttons and a cleaner visual design. Everything works exactly the same. It just looks better.
With every we release we continue to make small enhancements that individually might not merit mentioning but cumulatively make SoniClear easier to use and more reliable.
